Privacy Policy

Ridgeline Code ("we," "our," or "us") built Beyvo as a commercial application. This Privacy Policy explains what data Beyvo collects, how it is stored and processed, and your rights regarding that data.

Information We Collect

Beyvo is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app collects only the data you choose to enter. We do not collect data from third-party sources, use tracking pixels, or employ any automated data collection methods.

Data you enter

• Baby profile information — name, date of birth (month and year), feeding method, and optional photo
• Daily tracking data — feeding logs (breast, bottle, and solids), sleep records, diaper changes, and pumping sessions
• Milestones — milestone descriptions, dates, and optional photos
• Health records — vaccine records (including vaccine name, date, batch number, and provider), doctor appointments, medication and prescription schedules, allergy records, growth measurements (height, weight, head circumference), and vitals (temperature, heart rate, oxygen levels)
• App preferences — settings, display preferences, and notification schedules

Data collected when you use optional features

• Photos — if you attach photos to milestones or baby profiles, those images are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud photo backup with Beyvo Pro, location metadata (EXIF GPS data) is stripped from each photo before it is backed up to your own iCloud account.

Beyvo has no user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no password — with us or with any service we operate. You never hand us an email address or any other identifier to use the app. The only exception is if you choose to buy a physical keepsake (an optional feature) — in that case you provide the shipping and contact details needed to fulfill that one order, as described in "Keepsakes & the RidgeLine Print Store" below.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the features of Beyvo:

• Displaying your tracking logs, charts, and summaries
• Generating insights about feeding and sleep patterns
• Sending local notifications for feeding reminders, sleep reminders, medication schedules, and appointments
• Syncing data between your own Apple devices and sharing it with caregivers you invite (if you unlock Beyvo Pro)
• Storing your preferences for a personalized experience

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond the app's core functionality. There are no ads in Beyvo.

Where Your Data Lives

Where your data is stored depends on whether you unlock Beyvo Pro:

Free (default)

All data is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (UserDefaults, SwiftData, and the app's shared container). No data ever leaves your device. The app makes no network requests at all — it works fully in airplane mode. No account is required, because there is no account to create.

Beyvo Pro (optional one-time purchase)

If you unlock Beyvo Pro and you are signed in to iCloud, the same data is mirrored to your own iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit — never to a server we operate. We do not have a backend. We cannot see, access, or recover your data; only Apple can help you with your iCloud account.

Pro also lets you back up milestone and profile photos to your own iCloud storage (EXIF location data is stripped before upload), and share a baby with co-parents and caregivers using Apple's CloudKit Sharing. Only the people you explicitly invite through the share link can see that data.

Third-Party Services

Beyvo uses no third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools of any kind. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no social media integrations.

The only company Beyvo ever relies on is Apple, and only for features you choose to use:

• Apple iCloud & CloudKit — used only when a Beyvo Pro user opts in to iCloud sync, family sharing, or photo backup. Your data is stored in your own iCloud account under Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit — for processing the one-time Beyvo Pro purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never receive or store your payment information.

We never sell, trade, or rent your personal data, and we never share your baby's tracking, health, or photo data with anyone. Beyvo itself operates no servers for your data. The only information ever shared with anyone is the order and shipping details you provide if you choose to buy a physical keepsake — see "Keepsakes & the RidgeLine Print Store" below.

Keepsakes & the RidgeLine Print Store (Optional)

Beyvo may offer an optional way to buy physical keepsake products — for example, milestone apparel or prints that celebrate your baby's moments. This is completely optional and entirely separate from tracking your baby. You never have to buy anything to use Beyvo, and the core app remains free and fully private.

Any such products are sold and fulfilled by RidgeLine Print, a sister store also operated by Tiger Ridge LLC (the company behind Beyvo). If — and only if — you choose to place an order:

• Payment is handled by Apple Pay and our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• The order and shipping details you provide — such as your name, shipping address, and email — are shared with RidgeLine Print and the print and shipping providers that fulfill your order, and used only to process and deliver it. Those details are handled under the RidgeLine Print store's own privacy policy.

Personalizing products (optional). Beyvo can store a small, optional Personalization Profile — for example your baby's first name, their birth year or full birthday, and the names and relationships of family or caregivers (such as "Grandma" or "Papa") — so products can be tailored without you re-typing anything. You choose exactly which details to share; each one is off until you turn it on, the date can be limited to the year only, and you can view, change, or delete the whole profile anytime in Settings. These details are stored on your device (or your own iCloud, like your other Beyvo data) and are shared with RidgeLine Print and its print and shipping providers only when you place an order, and only the fields that particular product needs. If you enter names of other people (such as grandparents or caregivers), you are responsible for using them appropriately; they are used solely to produce the item you order.

Your baby's tracking and health data is never part of a purchase. Your feeding, sleep, health, growth, milestone, and photo data is never shared with the store, never sent to any server, never used to advertise to you, and never sold. The store only ever receives the order, shipping, and personalization details you choose to enter for an order — never your baby's tracking or health records.

If Beyvo ever suggests a keepsake (for example, around a milestone you logged), that suggestion is generated on your device from information already in the app. It is not advertising, no third party or ad network is involved, and no tracking is used. You can turn keepsake suggestions off in Settings. Beyvo has no ads.

Questions, returns, and refunds for any keepsake purchase are handled by RidgeLine Print, not by Apple. (Apple handles only the optional Beyvo Pro purchase.)

Family Sharing & Caregivers

If you unlock Beyvo Pro, you can share a baby with co-parents and caregivers using Apple's CloudKit Sharing. You send a share link through Messages, Mail, or AirDrop — we never collect or store the recipient's email address or contact details. Only the people you explicitly invite can view and add entries for that baby. Because Beyvo Pro is shareable through Apple Family Sharing, one purchase covers everyone in your Apple Family at no extra cost.

Data Retention & Deletion

• Local data: Remains on your device for as long as you use the app. You can delete individual records at any time, or delete everything from Settings. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data permanently.
• iCloud data (Beyvo Pro): Synced data lives in your own iCloud account. Deleting data in the app removes it from your iCloud, and you can also manage or remove it through your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage.
• No account to delete: Because Beyvo has no accounts and we operate no servers, there is no account on our side to delete and no copy of your data for us to hold. You are always in full control.

Your Rights

Because your data stays on your device or in your own iCloud, you are always in direct control of it. You can:

• Access all of your data directly in the app at any time
• Delete any or all data at any time, right from the app
• Export your data as a CSV file from Settings
• Revoke consent by deleting your data and discontinuing use of the app

App Privacy Details

The following information reflects the data practices of Beyvo as reported on the App Store. This is sometimes referred to as the app's "privacy nutrition label."

Data Used to Track You

Beyvo does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Data Linked to You

None. Beyvo has no accounts and collects no identifiers, so no data is linked to your identity. Your baby's information stays on your device, or — with Beyvo Pro — in your own private iCloud account that only you can access.

Data Collected by the Developer

None. We operate no servers and run no analytics, so we never receive, see, or store any of your data. Everything you enter — feeding and sleep logs, diaper changes, health records, growth measurements, milestones, photos, and your baby's name and birth date — stays on your device or in your own iCloud.

Data NOT Collected

Beyvo does not collect: precise or coarse location, phone number, physical address, contacts, browsing or search history, financial or payment information, purchase history, advertising data, or diagnostics. The app makes no network requests on the free tier and works entirely in airplane mode.

Exception — keepsake purchases. If you opt to buy a physical keepsake (an optional feature), the name, shipping address, and email you enter for that order, any personalization you choose to put on the product (such as your baby's first name or a date), and the fact of that purchase, are processed by our sister store RidgeLine Print and its payment, print, and shipping providers solely to fulfill and deliver it. Payment runs through Apple Pay and Stripe — we never receive or store your card number. This applies only when you choose to make a purchase, is handled under the RidgeLine Print store's privacy policy, and never involves any of your baby's tracking or health data. When this feature ships, Beyvo's App Store privacy label will be updated to reflect "Contact Info," "User Content," and "Purchases" used for app functionality (never to track you).

Children's Privacy

Beyvo is designed to be used by parents and caregivers to track information about their children. The app is operated by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The health and developmental data entered into the app is provided by the parent or caregiver, not by the child.

Data Security

The strongest protection for your data is that it never reaches us in the first place:

• On the free tier, your data never leaves your device — the app makes no network requests at all
• With Beyvo Pro, syncing uses Apple's CloudKit, so your data is stored and encrypted within your own iCloud account under Apple's security — we operate no servers of our own
• Photo location metadata (EXIF GPS data) is stripped before any photo is backed up to iCloud
• There is no account and no password to compromise, because Beyvo has neither

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date above. For material changes, we will also notify you within the app.
